Bio-shelter Backpackers

Based on Waiheke Island, New Zealand, Bio-shelter Backpackers is an Eco-friendly, artistic, Backpacker accomodation set on one acre of land.

There are 10 dormitory spaces throughout the building and one private room which can sleep up to 4 people. There are two showers, a composting toilet, a second low water use toilet, large kitchen, and both indoor and outdoor living areas to chill out in.

The sustainable building runs on solar and wind electricity; we recycle and re-use as much as we can, attempting to minimise our carbon footprint.

There are many different beaches and bays at a walking distance of 10-20mins, and the bus stop is near by. We are on the 502 Bus Route.

There is No Smoking inside the building, and from June 14th 2020 the whole property will be Smoke Free.
